Definition: Compassion is being there for someone where they are at without judgement and the need to "fix".  

Kindness is the practice that allows compassion to grow.  In our relationships, whether personal or business, if we introduce kindness as a way of engaging, we all will step more fully into a culture of compassion.

There is now data that shows introducing compassion into the workplace (including Boards and leadership teams) can:

  • Improve employee retention which can boost the company's profit

  • Decrease stress by making changes that support social interaction at work

  • Improve health by promoting healthy relationships between co-worker

Compassionate leadership can pave the way to a healthier and happier work environment!
